Power On My Lap

Programming for school tonight I had to stop and marvel at how wonderful it is to have a personal computer... to be able to write a program to scan hundreds of pages worth of information and load it into memory in a more useful format to be manipulated further tomorrow. 30 years ago, they couldn't even do what I did tonight on computers that filled entire rooms. It's easy to take it for granted.
